The safety distance of the safety grating light curtain refers to the shortest distance between the light curtain and the cutting edge of the mold in the working danger zone, that is, the distance needed to stop the slider before reaching the dangerous border from the position of the hand shielding light curtain. The safety distance is one of the necessary conditions to ensure the protection function of the safety grating, and the safety distance must be calculated correctly!
