When use safety light curtain, LED light on receive sometimes flash in red light. It may because of interference for safety light curtain.

Then what things may influence the safety light curtain during application?

1. Light source interference;

2. Frequency converter interference (high frequency conversion, low frequency conversion);

3.Position juxtaposed interference;

4.External high signal interference;

Solution:

1. Light source interference is divided into strong light interference and reflection interference. Which is easy to solve. 

   
   

Users can just replace the strong light with a normal light at the position where the light curtain is used.

Reflection interference is because there is a relatively bright object or mirror near the curtain, and it can be solved by moving it outside the protection area of the light curtain.

2.Converter interference we can easily solve it by below ways.

When purchase safety light curtain, it is very important to buy curtains with shielded wire, and connect the shielded wire well (preferably a shielded wire with better quality).

When wiring, please avoid passing places with converters.

Connect an intermediate relay to the signal line of the light curtain to isolate the interference signal.

3.The positional interference means that two machines with installed grating are relatively close together or two sets of safety light curtain installed side by side on one machine. That may have problem that the infrared light sent by first curtain are received by the second light curtain, and influence the normal application.

Users can solve it by slightly stagger the position of light curtains or exchange the position of the transmitter and receiver of one light curtain.

4. External high signal interference, which is rarely encountered. In some factories, signals such as WIFI or transmitters with certain frequencies will also cause interference to the light curtain. So you need to stay away from these signals or turn them off.
