The operation of ESPE safety light curtain is relatively simple, but it is related to the personal safety of the operating staff. We need to pay attention  to the daily maintenance of the safety light curtain. Only good maintenance can effectively ensure the lifespan and protect operator well.

Every six months or when the machine setting are changed, it is necessary to check the indicators and operation of the safety light curtain at the same time. 

1. Ensure the normal operation of all safety functions of the safety light curtain.

2. Confirm that the safety light curtain can be used normally and connected to the system correctly in the place where the equipment is changed.

3. The system can correctly receive the signal of the safety light curtain.

4. Check if the response time of the safety light curtain get changed.

5. Check if the cable, connector and accessories are installed correctly.

6. Pay attention to the cleaning of the safety light curtain.

7. System can receive the signal from safety  light curtain correctly.

It is suggested to carry out regular inspection and functional testing of the safety light curtain including the following steps:

1. If there is obvious visible damage to the parts of safety light curtain or not.

2. If there are damage or dirty on the lens.

3. If it can completely protect people from the dangerous machinery and equipment in operation.

4. Ensure that the safety of the staff can be truly protected.

5. Check the protective safety distance

6. Confirm whether the dangerous machine parts of the safety light curtain are within the protection range.

7. Whether the dangerous equipment can be stopped immediately, when testing rod cross the protective curtain.
